The Kirkpatrick C2C Route is designed for experienced cyclists and covers 250 miles right across the South of Scotland, from Stranraer in the West to Eyemouth in the East. The Kirkpatrick C2C Explorer approach takes eight days and offers the best of both worlds. It gives you the chance to cycle through breathtaking landscapes and picturesque towns, but also allows you the time to enjoy our history, our culture and the warmest of welcomes!

For the most part, the Kirkpatrick C2C route is flat or undulating, with Day Four of the Explorer approach the most testing of the eight in terms of gradient. It includes some steep climbs as well as the highest point of the route, but it is also perhaps the most rewarding of days, as the outstanding beauty of the landscapes along this stretch is especially memorable!

If you think you might prefer a more challenging pace on the Kirkpatrick C2C route to really test your cycling mettle, take a look at our Challenge approach. Or if you would prefer to tackle the route in separate stages, the Bitesize approach might be best for you.
