The centre of this smuggling and illegal trade was Gunsgreen House; a standalone mansion. It was involved in trading tobacco, alcohol and tea and his a much enjoyed visitor attraction.

The popular Berwickshire Coastal Path passes through Eyemouth en-route from Berwick to St Abbs. This route offers plenty off great spots for walking, bird watching, fishing and and even diving. The geology of this area was studied by famous pioneering geographer James Hutton and was where he announced the surface of the earth had dramatically changed over the ages due to evidence he found around the Eyemouth area.
