About The Old Fish House
The Old Fish House is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century and has recently been totally updated and transformed into a cosy holiday cottage for 2. It has stunning views as it looks directly out over the beach and bay in Eyemouth and part of the harbour. The cottage has free Wi-Fi and central heating throughout. One well behaved dog is welcome, although not allowed on the bed and not to be left alone. Contact details of some lovely local dog sitters can be provided. Several pubs and shops allow dogs to come in. A level walk from the cottage to excellent pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways. There are wild seals in the harbour. During the summer months you can purchase bits of fish to feed them! Eyemouth has an 18 hole golf course that welcomes non-member visitors. One famous hole is directly across a gap in the cliffs. There are a couple of really interesting museums. Friday evenings the local pipe band performs in the market square, as well as some of the children performing traditional Scottish Dancing. There are stunning clif walks to some of the beautiful neighbouring fishing villages. There are also opportunities to go diving, fishing and take a fast or slow rib ride!
