About The Coach House

Set in the secluded grounds of a Category B Listed Manse built in 1851, this well- equipped, comfortable space sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms (each with ensuite). We are fully dog-friendly (for up to 3 dogs) with a separate fenced garden with seating area for the exclusive use of guests and their dogs. There is ample parking adjacent.

This idyllic location, just north of the border in the village of Canonbie, is easily accessible to the A7, M74 and M6 routes and ideal for exploring Southern Scotland, The Lake District and Northumberland (Hadrians Wall). The historic city of Carlisle is only 15 miles south. Walking, cycling, fishing on the River Esk , wild swimming, birdwatching and nature trails are all on the doorstep, as is the new 5,200-acre Tarras Valley Nature Reserve. Gretna Green is close-by, making this an ideal place for wedding parties to stay.

First Floor 2 double bedrooms each with en-suite shower rooms, king sized beds with quality bedding and towels. One of the beds can be converted into two singles if required.
The property is centrally heated and all power costs are included. A welcome basket with milk, butter, bread and some treats is supplied for all guests.
Guests have exclusive use of a separate, secure dog-friendly garden and ample parking.
