The Buccleuch Centre is a small theatre located in the town of Langholm. Our venue hosts a wide array of shows from music to comedy – the smaller auditorium which can hold just over 250 people is perfect for generating an intimate atmosphere to connect with the audience.

We offer a great multifunctional, flexible meeting space, we can provide technical assistance and projection hire with the option of professional catering
We provide fully catered weddings, christenings, funeral teas, birthday parties and corporate meetings/lunches. Being based in South West Scotland we are an ideal meeting point for Corporate events bringing in organisations from Cumbria, the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway

Additionally, The Buccleuch Centre is available to hire for community events such as weddings or meetings – three distinct rooms are ready to be booked. The entire venue is accessible with ramps and automatic doors for all entrances.

The Buccleuch Centre also supports a coffee shop which runs from Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm –
The Foyer is a welcoming area that houses our restaurant and coffee shop. With seating available for over 50 customers, there is always an option for an intimate table for two or a larger party to come for lunch.

With our large space, we offer great accessibility for wheelchairs and prams, with a no step access all the way through to dining area.
Our menu offers a wide range of lunch options whether its a light bite or a more substantial meal, there is lots to choose from.
We pride ourselves on being aware of allergies – our menu gives a good array of gluten free and vegetarian options.
We also have a specials board that is updated weekly with a tasty seasonal dish.
We offer a selection of high quality food and drink is always available! The coffee shop’s food is supplied by CastleView Catering, offering fresh ingredients for lunches, pre-show meals and private catering for booked events. Call 013873 81196 to book your table to avoid disappopintment.

All room hires can book catering for events, although this is subject to change depending on which day the event is hosted on.

On show nights and select events, we open our bar to customers – stocked with numerous spirits, wines and beers.
