Our menu centres around local and seasonal produce, with some pub classics, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options as well as a separate menu for kids. With seasonal specials from Head Chef Reece Watkin and his talented, creative team, you're sure to find something to tempt you.

Alongside our hand-selected wine list, whiskies and cocktail menu, the BQA is the perfect destination for lunch, dinner, events and much more.

Our large function room and private dining room offer the ideal venue for events, celebrations, meetings and parties.

With fourteen tastefully decorated rooms and a traditional, Scottish style in our historic building, a warm and comfortable stay awaits residents in the Hotel. All of our rooms are dog friendly and a choice of accessible rooms is also available.

Our back bar offers a relaxed and lively environment, with a dart board, juke box and all major sporting events shown regularly.

Partnered with the Auchenbrack estate, we also offer charming self-catering accommodation in cosy cottages. The perfect location for a quiet break with excellent walks and a host of local activities on offer.

Thornhill is a busy village in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway, with the imposing Drumlanrig Castle and Estate just a stone's throw away and the River Nith in easy walking distance. Thornhill boasts some incredible walking routes, shops, a golf course, local art and architecture and easy access to some of D&G's most interesting and spectacular visitor attractions, activities and museums.
