Nestled on the banks of Loch Drumlamford, just a short drive south from Barrhill are our 3 well spaced pods. The Galloway Forest park is but a stones through away. So ride the trails, walk the tracks and enjoy the wildlife that this beautiful area has to offer. On clear nights enjoy star gazing. An ideal place to relax and unwind, read a book or just take in the silence. Pods are solar powered, with ensuite composting toilets, well equipped kitchenette, double bed and wood burning stove.

Our little site is a unique and special place, the pods sit within the Drumlamford Lochs wildlife area and over look the loch. Badgers, Otters and Hen Harriers to name but a few of our visitors. We have NO hot tubs, NO wifi and NO showers. 

There are bags of peace and quiet, miles of walking and cycling tracks, as we sit on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park. The whole area sits inside the Southern Ayrshire and Galloway Biosphere. A UNESCO site where the residents and businesses live sustainably and in tune with the natural world.

The dark skies here are amazing. On a clear night, the Milky Way stretches across the sky, planets and satellite's flicker overhead, as do the bats and unfortunately the midges (don't forget your midge spray).

Our ethos is one of Harmony, live with and within the beauty of this much overlooked corner of Scotland.

We compost almost everything, including your poop!!! What we can't compost, we recycle, what we can't recycle we try to reuse, what we can't reuse....well, that's not a lot!!!

So if you're looking for a throbbing nightlife, raves, hot tubs and a KFC.....this place is probably not for you.

If you want break for the hustle and bustle, take a trip our way, you'll go home refreshed and ready to hit the grind stone again.. (after booking a return trip to us..)
