About New Quay

This forms a channel which leads to the boatyard. Boats using the boatyard slipway are moved along this narrow channel known as ‘The Cut’. At the seaward end of the Middle Pier is a footbridge across the Cut to the opposite side of the harbour cross the bridge to the Lifeboat Station.
