The abbey grounds and museum are now open and we are delighted to welcome you back.

Due to essential conservation works, access to the interior of the main abbey is currently unavailable and a safety perimeter is in place while these works are ongoing.

Prices have been reduced due to areas being closed for conservation works.

Opening times:
1 Apr to 1 Aug:
Daily, 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 3pm

2 Aug to 30 Sept:
Daily, 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm

Historic Scotland have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe.

Booking in advance is recommended to guarantee entry. If you are a Member your ticket will be free, but to guarantee entry please book in advance.

Before booking please visit the Scottish Government travel guidance for any current restrictions in place.
