About Market Square

As you enter the Square, on your left is no. 5, an early 19th century three storey house. Note the mouldings around the door and windows. On your right is a chemist’s shop. Each side of the building has panelled pilasters, a feature of early 19th century buildings in Duns. The shop-front was rebuilt in the early 1990s and is essentially a copy of the original design.
