About Lockerbie

Lockerbie is a small town, north of the Scottish Border, on the main road and rail routes between Glasgow and Carlisle.

Lockerbie has an agricultural past and was once home to Scotland’s largest lamb market. There are various shops within the town, and selection on places to eat, drink and stay. At the Dryfesdale Cemetery, on the outskirts of the town, there is a memorial garden that commemorates the victims of the 1988 Lockerbie Air Disaster.
