About Lincluden Collegiate Church

Lincluden Collegiate Church was built in about 1400, replacing a nunnery which seems to have fallen into moral and physical decay. It was probably constructed by John Morrow, one of the finest master masons in Scotland. The church is in ruins, but the choir still represents some of the best Gothic architecture in Scotland.

The monumental tomb of Princess Margaret, who died in 1450, can still be found in the choir.
