About Girvan

Girvan is a popular seaside resort on the Clyde Coast about half an hour south of Ayr. It sits on the South West Coastal 300 route and makes a great base for exploring the South West Coast.

The town has a beautiful beach which offers wonderful views of Ailsa Craig. In the Summer you can visit the island from where the granite for most of the curling stones in the world is sourced!

Walkers are spoiled for choice in Girvan with coastal and forest walks within easy reach of the town. And of course for golfers, the world famous Turnberry is also nearby.
