Fiddle Hill Cottage is situated on a peaceful rural Croft, surrounded by birds and nature, with walks from the door. The Croft also has the convenience and heritage of Hawick town centre just 2 miles away.
The cottage is well insulated, powered by solar and is fed by natural water source. It has an enclosed garden and separate enclosed wildlife pond. It’s a luxury romantic retreat or a perfect base for families and friends with kids and dogs, sleeping 4 in the super kingsize bed in the mezzanine bedroom and the bunkroom on the ground floor.
The open plan living space is comfy and eclectic, with superfast fibre broadband and smart tv, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom has a freestanding bath plus a rainshower. Outside there’s a deck for relaxing with the birds or stargazing at night. In the garden there’s a firepit and bbq, an outdoor ping pong table, bike storage plus 2 electric bikes for guests to use for exploring the surrounding hills. Wild swimming is available in a lochan just 4 minutes walk from the door.
Hawick is central to the Scottish Borders, so for guests wanting to explore further afield there is loads to see, with Selkirk, Melrose, Kelso and Jedburgh all an easy drive. The Borders Abbey Way is just 10 minutes walk from the door, golf courses within 15 minutes drive and walks/cycle routes in the beautiful borders landscape surrounding Hawick.
