The Cruck Cottage is a cruck framed, thatched cottage, a building type that was very common in this area in the 18th and 19th century. It is the only remaining example of this particular type and has been carefully restored and maintained by Cruck Cottage Heritage. It is available for visiting at any reasonable time, a list of nearby keyholders is displayed in the cottage window. Arrangements for visits can also be made by telephone or email.
