About Coldingham Sands
This beautiful beach stretches for a kilometre within Coldingham Bay with a rocky shore at either end of the beach. Situated within the Berwickshire Marine Reserve, hermit crabs can be seen in the rock pools. The Berwickshire Coastal Path making it a great stop for a rest or shorter walks with stunning views! Coastal grassland on the beach supports flowers such as restharrow and butterflies such as the small copper. It is very close to St Abbs Nature Reserve where thousands of cliff nesting birds can be seen at the nearby St Abbs Head Nature Reserve. It is also greatly popular with surfers!
