About Cafe Sitooterie and Caddon View Guest House
Lisa and Steve are proud to announce the opening of Cafe Sitooterie, showcasing the best of the south of Scotland’s produce, with a little (lot…) of fun along the way. Cafe Sitooterie offers a range of breakfasts, snacks and main meals, all inspired by what is fresh, local and seasonal. We cook simply and let the produce do the talking. Of course we offer super teas and coffees, home made cakes and bakes, but we also have a range of wines, local craft beers, whisky, and gin! Please come along and experience our welcoming, friendly, relaxed and modern approach to Scottish dining. Sitooterie is quite small so at busy times we recommend calling for a reservation. When the sun shines there are seats in the garden too.
Cafe Sitooterie is in the conservatory of an imposing Victorian former doctors surgery, now a well reputed Guest House. Winner of Scottish Borders Guest House of the Year, a warm welcome awaits you from Lisa and Steve at Caddon View. Set in its own grounds Caddon View is a beautifully decorated Victorian house built in the 1850's, with 8 very comfortable, individually designed bedrooms. As described in the Sunday Herald: "The mood inside is relaxing, from the moment Steve & Lisa greet me at the door. The food would hold its own in a city restaurant, and the menu reflects the makeover the couple have given this Victorian home since taking over in April 2007: fresh, comfortably modern and entirely welcoming."
Currently we are open from 9am from Tuesday to Friday, from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. We close at 3pm apart from Thursday, Friday and Saturday when we are open until 8pm (last orders) for dinner. Closed Mondays
