Relax, unwind and recharge in this beautiful Norwegian lodge.

Nestled in a private setting of 10 boutique lodges on the ‘Scottish Riviera’, the lodge is spacious, light and bright and is surrounded by woodland, forest walks and an ancient bluebell wood.

With a large open plan design, three good size bedrooms, wrap around decking and private enclosed garden, Bluebell Lodge is perfect for families looking to spend some quality time together.

Furry friends are welcome too!

The space
Bluebell Lodge is one of a collection of 10 Norwegian pine lodges located within Kipp Paddock, a private setting at the edge of an 8000 year old bluebell wood in Kippford Dumfries & Galloway, one of the most beautiful and accessible regions of Scotland.

Enter the lodge to be greeted by a light, bright and very spacious open plan kitchen, sitting and dining room. With dual aspect sliding doors leading out to the wrap around decking, a welcome breeze during warmer months makes it the perfect space to enjoy time with family or friends.

The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing a light lunch or full evening meal and being open plan, you won’t miss out on all the family fun!

The large dining table will seat 6 comfortably for mealtimes or is a great base for family games night after a fun packed day exploring all our wonderful region has to offer.

After a busy day hiking, cycling or sightseeing, all you may wish to do is kick back and relax for a while. The large, comfortable sofas are the ideal place to unwind with a glass or two in the evening and the space is ideal for social gatherings or simply a night in front of the TV.

Enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the decking overlooking the private garden a real ‘good for the soul’ spot and the perfect space to relax for a few minutes with a good book.

The primary bedroom is a light and airy spacious room with a super comfortable king size bed and plenty of storage space and with it’s own en-suite shower room is the perfect place to get a good night sleep after a busy day.
Bedroom 2 & 3 both have twin beds and again good storage space.
The main bathroom is a good size with both a shower and bath.

Kippford is a beautiful and picturesque village which is often visited by the local people of Dumfries & Galloway itself. A popular sailing village, small yachts are often moored in the estuary and the Solway Yacht Club often holds sailing events.

Known as the ‘Scottish Riviera’ it boasts some of the most expensive properties in the region!

There are fantastic coastal and forest walking opportunities with the Kippford to Rockcliffe round trip taking around 1.5 to 2 hours and offers incredible views.

For Golfers there is Craigieknowes Golf Course, a scenic 9 hole, par 3 course only minutes from the house, this is a surprisingly testing warm up course for experienced golfers, whilst remaining accessible and welcoming to beginners.
In addition the championship grade links course at Southerness is only 20 minutes away.

Dumfries and Galloway is a cyclist’s paradise. You can Ride the Coast, Ride the Uplands, Ride the South Coast 200 or choose Day Rides.

Dalbeattie Forest is one of the 7stanes cycling trails and in all there are over 17km of cycling trails linking Dalbeattie to Colvend, Sandyhills and Kippford.

Kippford has two fantastic restaurants at local hotels The Mariner & The Anchor which offer a wide menu from traditional pub food to seafood specials.
