Since 2018, the Festival Company has been promoting literary tourism in Dumfries and Galloway. In 2019 it wone the Innovation in Tourism Award at the Scottish Thistles Awards for its AirBnb, The Open Book, a residential bookshop experience.

A literary charity that runs the multiple award-winning Wigtown Book Festival, which takes place over 10 days each autumn and offers more than 300 events for all ages.
