Hike & Bike Hub

As a social enterprise, we are committed to making sure that all our services are inclusive and accessible for everyone. We use any surplus profits to provide cycling skills sessions to local community organisations.

We are a community-led organisation, with our professionally qualified volunteers all passionate about sharing our local knowledge, to encourage locals and visitors to spend time in, and explore, Galashiels and the surrounding area. We are happy to signpost visitors to visitor attractions, and other local facilities to ensure they get the most from their visit to the area.

About Hike & Bike Hub

Hike & Bike Hub is a social enterprise promoting walking and cycling for leisure, health and active travel around Galashiels, in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Come and explore all that is on offer in Galashiels and the surrounding area. Our affordable services include -

BIKE HIRE – Adult leisure hybrid bikes, adult e-bikes, children’s bikes, an adapted trike and an e-trike available for hire. All are suitable for use by leisure cyclists, on tarmac and gravel paths.

BIKE REPAIRS & SERVICING

WEEKLY GUIDED WALKS (usually Fridays or Saturdays)

WEEKLY LED CYCLE RIDES (usually Sunday mornings)

We now organise the GALASHIELS WALKING FESTIVALS in Spring and Autumn.

E-bike tour – Galashiels, Melrose, Trimontium, Scott's View, Wallace Statue, Dryburgh, and return. Available on Wednesdays only for group of 4 adults max
