HARP Archaeology Tours

- By taking part in our tours and experiences you will directly support local Heritage Societies and Trusts whose sites and activities will be front and centre of your experience, taking you further than a traditional tour ever could.
- All HARP tours and experiences are led by two dedicated guides/leaders, including a professional archaeologist, who have worked extensively in the local area and provide unique, professional insights into all the sites that you visit.

About HARP Archaeology Tours

Have you ever wanted to be an archaeologist? HARP provide bespoke tours and experiences for small groups of up to 12 people in the Scottish Borders. We offer unique activities that can be bundled together or we can design an itinerary to allow your guests to experience heritage sites in a way that isn't possible on regular history and archaeology tours.

All HARP tours are led by professional archaeologists who give you an insight into the past that is different from regular history tours. We highlight local excavations and give you an understanding of how the area you are touring developed during both prehistoric and historical times. We guide you through the archaeological skills used to identify and record heritage sites, giving you the opportunity to ‘have a go’.
