Cross Keys Inn

STARTS HERE

Cross Keys Inn

With seven bedrooms we are a modest size, creating a convivial relaxed drinking, dining and cosy overnight stay experience. We serve traditional ‘pub grub’ that showcases the very best of the South of Scotland’s produce and our bar offers a great, affordable selection of local beers and spirits.

Ettrickbridge is a beautiful, rural village with a real sense of community, and a peaceful atmosphere. With incredible countryside on our doorstep, we offer visitors a place to unwind after touring, cycling and walking journeys around the surrounding Valleys and a homely place to rest in the South of Scotland.

About Cross Keys Inn

Located just outside the historic Royal Burgh of Selkirk in Ettrickbridge, Rory and Vicki Steel took ownership of the Cross Keys Inn in January 2023 and following a major renovation and refurbishment, brought everything that they love about the South of Scotland to the 17th century coaching inn.

Our roots as a traditional Scottish coaching inn are evident from the minute guests arrive—from the warm, earthy Scottish Borders-inspired décor, roaring fire, and gallery of historic photographs on the walls to the exceptionally hospitable welcome and our cosy, comfortable, quality accommodation.

We're family-friendly, dog-friendly, welcome cyclists, walkers, fishermen, car clubs, day-trippers and touring groups. Our bar is always filled with friendly locals who are delighted to share stories and recommendations for walks, cycles and days out or invite visitors to join them in a quiz team, game of darts or live music session.
