The Minto Hills

Walking

A circular route passing through the Minto Hills with the option of ascending to their summits; also passes through the settlement of Minto.

After enjoying the twin domes of the Minto Hills rising to 276m you may want to have a look at two of Denholm’s notable buildings – Dr John Leyden’s thatched house who was a poet and linguist. Also worthy of note is The Text House a superlative example of an Arts and Crafts building.

Denholm lies 3 miles north-east of Hawick on the A698.
