The longer 75 mile loop is best cycled anti-clockwise and could be broken with an overnight stay in Newcastleton, Hawick or Langholm depending upon the starting location.
Please allow at least 10 hours 15 minutes to complete it, excluding the time taken to enjoy the destinations along the way.
Hawick is the largest of the Border towns with a long history stretching back to the 1100’s.
Alemoor Loch, also known as Alemoor Reservoir, sits on the Ale Water to the west of Hawick in the Scottish Borders.
