Cycling Route

Abbey St Bathans

Cycling

This is a big loop to the north of Duns.  After passing Edrom the Whiteadder Water is crossed at Todheugh. The road rises gradually to Lintlaw then descends to Lintlaw Burn before a long climb towards Blackhouse.

Once the summit has been reached in a small wood, the route to Grantshouse is easy going. Just before Grantshouse turn right as you head towards Abbey St Bathans with a few steep climbs along the way. Leaving Abbey St Bathans there is a long climb away from the river and from this summit a steep descent to the junction at Burnhouses before travelling back towards Duns.
