About Wicker Man Sculpture

The Wickerman was a sculpture made from wicker, by Trevor Leats however, being badly damaged during Storm Eowyn in January 2025, it was burned down by the artist. There are plans for its return.

The 1973 British folk horror film, The Wicker Man, was also largely set in Dumfries and Galloway.
