About Turnbull Monument

The name Turnbull was is said to have come from when William of Rule fought and 'turning the bull' to the ground that was charging at King Robert the Bruce in 1313. He was then called William Turn-E-Bull .The monument was commissioned by the Turnbull Clan Association (TCA) based in America and was sculpted by Borders artist Angela Hunter and cost £100,000
