About The Waterloo Monument

The 150-foot tower, built between 1817 and 1824 to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo. The tower is not open but you can borrow the key from Lothian Estates Office in nearby Bonjedward for a small fee and climb the spiral staircase to a platform around the tower.
