About The Toll House Circular

The Toll House is a short circular route which crosses the Leithen Water and the River Tweed over the Haughhead Viaduct. The viaduct was once a railway bridge and is category B listed and The Toll House once collected money to fund the road works that were undertaken by Turnpike Trusts after 1751. A good place to park is the Innerleithen Trails Carpark.
