Talla Reservoir is located a mile southeast from Tweedsmuir in the Scottish Borders. It is an earth-work dam fed by Talla Water and supplies water to Edinburgh.

About Talla Reservoir

Situated in the hills near Tweedsmuir, Talla Reservoir is 2 miles long and simply stunning. There is an easy family-friendly walk where you can bird watch and enjoy the fantastic view from a little bridge about half a mile from the reservoir. The reservoir is a great spot for brown trout fishing. Fly fishing by permit only and permits are available at the Broughton Store in Broughton.
