About Sandhead
Sandhead is situated on the Luce Bay coast of the Rhins of Galloway. It is a popular destination due to its white sandy beach. Sandhead was once used for landing lime and coal. Nearby are the Kirkmadrine Stones, thought to date back to the 5th or 6th century. There is a hotel and small shop in the village.
