About Salmon Pools on the Tweed

One of three salmon pools on this bend in the River Tweed; part of the landscape of the salmon fishing world. The Tweed has a deserved reputation as one of the world's great salmon fisheries. The salmon angler has to learn how the fish move about in the river landscape under the water and so the pools in the river are given names. The pools on this bend of the river are called The Oak Tree, the Norrs and Brig End.
