About Rockcliffe Village

Rockcliffe village has an attractive sandy beach, interspersed by rocky outcrops and is a popular visitor destination. This stretch of the Colvend Coast was a popular destination for Victorians, enthusiastic about the benefits of sea bathing and enjoying the mild climate. It is a now a designated Bathing Beach and there is real-time information on the water quality at the Car Park. The surrounding land, and some properties are owned by National Trust for Scotland.
