About Nith Riverside Cottages

Nith Riverside Cottages comprises of three self catering cottages which are situated on the beautiful banks of the River Nith in the gardens of Blackaddie House Hotel.

They are converted from a traditional barn into spacious and comfortable accommodation.

The cottages offer easy access to our cosy bar and restaurant, whilst still offering you the self catering option.

With idyllic views of the river backed by rolling hills, these lovely cottages are the perfect base to explore south west Scotland.

Riverside Cottage (Sleeps 2)
A spacious, comfortable cottage with a spectacular view through french doors to the River Nith.

Riverside Cottage is the perfect haven of comfort and relaxation.

The cottage has a well equipped galley kitchen, a large living/dining room.

A large double bedroom which can be twinned if preferred and a bathroom/W.C. (shower over bath).

The Fishing Cottage (Sleeps 4)
The middle of the three cottages, the Fishing Cottage also enjoys beautiful views of the river and surrounding countryside.

It gets its name because it is situated just 100 meters from John Kerr Pool, a salmon pool just up the river.

The cottage itself has recently been renovated and is comfortable and spacious and has access to a garden area at the front with seating overlooking the river.

It has a large living/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen and utility room.

Two large double bedrooms which can be twinned if preferred and a bathroom/W.C. (shower over bath).

Waterside Cottage (Sleeps 4)
The largest of the three cottages, the Waterside has a very spacious living/dining room and a well equipped fitted kitchen.

At the front of the property there is a garden area with seating overlooking the river and the countryside beyond.

The cottage has two large bedrooms which can be set up as doubles or twins.

The cottage is wheelchair friendly with a ramp to the front door, wider doors throughout and the bathroom/WC with shower over bath is fitted out with the disabled in mind.
