About Loreburn Hall

Loreburn Hall is located in the town centre of Dumfries in the South of Scotland. The iconic building is a common good asset, with a long and successful history as a large community space for all sorts of community events and gatherings. Now under new management, and undergoing a phased redevelopment programme, the Drill Hall Initiative CIC is working with the local community, event organisers and promoters to create a sustainable, community-focused future for the venue. It is already hosting large events from live music, concerts, gigs, parties, comedy shows, fitness classes and is has been transformed into an an arena for large sporting and gaming events too. The venue is well used for smaller community shows, markets and events and is also home to a growing number of arts, cultural and community organisations. The hall is available for hire.
