The South of Scotland offers some of the darkest skies in the UK, making Kailzie the perfect place to enjoy a spot of star gazing. The local Tweeddale Astronomical Society meet at Kailzie and recommend plenty of warm clothing, boots with good grip in case of ice, a head torch and a flask to help you make the most of this experience. Each cottage has outside seating and blankets to make viewing a little more comfortable.
