About Junction Pool

Junction Pool is the confluence of the Tweed and Teviot, situated in Kelso town centre. It also benefits from a viewing point and benches with view down to the elegant bridge across the Tweed at Kelso, forerunner to Tower Bridge in London. The junction pool is one of 11 making up the 1.5 mile stretch of double bank fishing known as the Junction beat. There is an interpretation board situated here which explains the history and importance of the pool.
