About Eden Holiday Hideaways

Enjoy the beauty of the Scottish Borders at Hideaways, 3 bespoke chalets offering panoramic views of the Eden and Tweed Valleys. This tranquil setting near the Scottish town of Kelso is the ideal place to relax and unwind.

The 3 chalets - Eden, Orchard, and Tweed - each have 2 bedrooms and accommodate between 2 and 4 people. They all have a contemporary design, with an open plan living area boasting an L-shaped comfy sofa, wood burner, and a flatscreen TV - setting the perfect scene to sit back and look across the stunning countryside to the Cheviot Hills. There is also a kitchen with oven, fridge, and microwave, and a dining table and chairs.

Off the living area is the bathroom with shower, basin, and WC, and also the 2 bedrooms. One is a compact twin room and the other is a large King size room, offering greater flexibility for guests. Both bedrooms and the living area have glass windows and doors making up one of the walls, allowing light to flood in and giving access to the chalet-long decking. This is the perfect area for an afternoon snooze or an evening drink, complemented by the log fired hot tub that accompanies each property.

Located on an organic farm in this quiet corner by the Scottish border, guests are welcome to use the tennis court on the site. With countryside, farmland, and woods surrounding Hideaways, it really is in one of the UK's most picturesque spots and there is plenty to explore right on the doorstep.

Kelso itself has 2 rivers flowing through it, the Tweed and Teviot, and is a historical town with the ruined Roxburgh Castle dating back to 1128. There is also Floor Castle overlooking the Tweed and the five-arched bridge over the same river which was built in 1803. Kelso Square is home to a number of specialist shops. A short hop to the England - to Northumberland and its rolling countryside and magnificent coast line, Alnwick Castle where Harry potter was filmed and the gardens and tree house, Craster and Bamburgh Castle and Hadrian's Wall.
