Crichton Central is a co-working and collaboration space and cafe set in the beautiful grounds of The Crichton in Dumfries.

The Crichton is an 85-acre parkland estate and is already home to Easterbrook Hall, Easterbrook Bistro, Bar and Spa, The Crichton Memorial Church, The Crichton Gardens, an academic campus and a thriving Business Park with 100+ tenants and partners.

The former Criffel View building was tastefully redeveloped in 2021 to create a modern working environment and cafe with a public lounge, meeting rooms, a community radio station, an events and performance space and a co-working space as well as a new Changing Places facility. It also has outdoor seating and a terrace with fantastic views of the The Crichton and surrounding countryside. Dogs are welcome on the terrace and lawn.

Crichton Central is perfectly located between the business park and the academic campus and is a catalyst for creativity and innovation. It is a popular cafe and is open to the public 7 days a week for breakfast, coffees, cakes, lunch and snacks. Meeting rooms and event spaces can be booked by the hour and the co-working space is accessible to members and to those who book a pass. Crichton Central is also home to The Scotland 5G Centre.
