The border between Scotland and England is a popular stop for visitors. The A68 road which carries the traffic over this route climbs steadily to a height of 418 metres above sea level at the Border. There are lay-bys to park in to admire the views and marker stones to indicate the exact borderline.
The views out to the Cheviot Hills over in England and The Scottish Borders make this a worthwhile visit.
