About Branxholme Castle

In the picturesque Scottish Borders, Branxholme Castle is located three miles (5 km) southwest of the market town of Hawick. The castle, which had been abandoned for twelve years, was inhabited by Carol Shanley and Brian Desport in July 2017. They have meticulously updated the entire property to create a lovely family home and business that serves as a wedding and events venue, beauty spa, and cafe in addition to providing B&B lodging. Branxholme Castle is surrounded by beautiful grounds which also provides woodland walks for guests.
