About Bladnoch Distillery

Bladnoch Distillery is a 205 year old premium Single Malt Scotch Whisky producer, paying tribute to the rich history of Bladnoch and traditional lowland style Scotch Whisky. Every drop is crafted using water from the River Bladnoch which runs alongside our estate.
In 2015 the distillery was bought by Australian entrepreneur, David Prior, who restarted whisky production at Bladnoch after being mothballed for 8 years. Bladnoch has 10 bonded warehouses and produces over 1,500,000 litres of spirit a year. In late Summer 2019 TRH, The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay officially opened a brand-new Visitor Centre and Café on site welcoming guests to guests back to the 200+ year old distillery.

The distillery is open all year round and groups are welcome.

Facilities include free parking and an accessible gift shop and cafe. Unfortunately, the tour does not have wheelchair access and would not be suitable for those who require a walking aid.
