Barhill Woods is a beautiful unspoiled community run woodland just outside Kirkcudbright. It is an unspoiled mixed woodland with broadleaf and conifer trees, woodland paths, a red squirrel hide, and a nature classroom. Groups, school groups, and families are all welcome.

Barhill Community Base - this facility is a 6m x 4m open plan building which is available to all local community groups and individuals as a base when using the woodland for events or for meetings. There will be no formal charge for the use of the building but a donation would be appreciated to help cover the cost of insurance and maintenance. Please call 07771 908397 to book.
