About Bairnkine Cottages

Wild Rose sleeps 5 and Owl Cottage sleeps 6, both situated at the end of our farm drive. Whilst you stay with at The Bairnkine Matt and Lucy will tell you about the farm. You can follow one of the walks that are mapped out for you, watch for deer, buzzards and other birds. There are lots of sheep and usually cattle too. Also, if you play tennis why not bring your rackets and arrange to play at our court (contact Lucy to arrange times)
Although the cottages are next to each other, they are very different.
Wild Rose has a more traditional feel with an open fire in the sitting room and enclosed lawned garden and parking. The main bedroom has a double bed and views over the open countryside. The second bedroom has three single beds or alternatively guests can request that two of the beds are zip and linked and make a kingsize (prior to arrival).
Owl Cottage has sitting room, kitchen with Dining area, games room and shower room on the ground floor. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with separate shower cubicle in bathroom. The main bedroom can be requested to be made up as a twin or zip and link king size (prior to arrival). The games room has a snooker/pool table, football table and darts board too. We allow a maximum of two dogs in Owl Cottage (charge applies)
