Two for One Tickets — Dark Skies Fireside Storytelling at Eat, Sleep, Ride

Bring a friend free to our Dark Skies, Old Tales fireside storytelling evening on Saturday 17 October, part of the inaugural South of Scotland Dark Sky Festival. Book one place and the second is free.

Enjoy an evening of Borders folklore, told fireside under one of Scotland’s darkest skies. The event will be held on Saturday 17 October 2026 from 7pm at Quarry Farm, Lamberton, just ten minutes from Berwick-upon-Tweed. Eat Sleep Ride is a registered Scottish charity and every booking supports our work with young people across the Borders.

Suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over; under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited and booking is essential. Not suitable for wheelchair users on all routes — please contact us in advance and we will make arrangements.

  • Booking essential — places are strictly limited.
  • The event runs outdoors around a fire, so warm clothing and sturdy footwear are essential. We will run in most weather but will contact you if conditions become unsafe.
  • There is no signage on the road — use what3words ///stubble.hush.nightfall.
  • Free parking on site.
