The Scottish Chamber Orchestra in Hawick

Saturday 28 June 2025 – 7.30pm at Hawick Town Hall.

Join SCO Principal Guest Conductor Andrew Manze and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for a delightful evening of sparkling rhythms and timeless melodies.

The journey begins with Larsson’s Pastoral Suite, a gently evocative work brimming with lyrical grace. Mozart’s charming and witty Bassoon Concerto follows, a beloved masterpiece performed by the SCO’s very own Cerys Ambrose-Evans, showcasing her virtuosity and warmth.

The concert concludes with Schubert’s Symphony No. 6, often called his “Little C Major,” a work filled with infectious energy, playful charm, and the irresistible spirit of dance.

Don’t miss this celebration of musical brilliance and joy!
