Discover the wild beauty of the Berwickshire coast with a guided sea swim and scenic walk from Coldingham to St Abbs. Designed for curiosity, wellbeing, and mindfulness, this 4-hour experience is perfect for those wanting to explore safely and mindfully.

Who It’s For
This experience is ideal for people who want to:
- Wild swim on a sheltered sandy beach with rocky shore at a relaxed pace with a local guide.
- Explore the stunning coastline and charming village of St Abbs, experiencing the fauna, flora and coastal history of our 1 mile stretch.
- Gain confidence in an outdoor activity.
- Slow pace, slow vibe.

No pressure. No need to swim if you don’t want to. Just enjoy the coast, the fresh air, and the sea’s calming effect.

What’s Included (4 Hours)

1. Welcome & Grounding
- Community Shed Base Camp
-Meet your guides and fellow participants.
- Gentle grounding to settle into the surroundings.
- Introduction to the benefits of cold water, coastal walks, and fresh air.
- Guidance on safety, pacing, and listening to your body.

2. Guided Sea Swim: Optional & Supported (40 - 60 minutes)
- An optional, guided sea swim at Coldingham Bay.
- Safety briefing and buddy system included.
- Techniques for safe entry, floating, and breath awareness.
- Marine life exploration.
- Warm Refreshments
- Insurance.
- Loan of a tow float.
-Qualified open water coaches and outdoor first aiders

3. Coastal Walk to St Abbs
- A gentle walk along the spectacular coastal path.
- Opportunities for conversation, photography, or quiet reflection.
- Stops to notice cliffs, seabirds, and panoramic sea views (and maybe the occasional Dolphin, Orca, Minke Whale).
- Learn about stories of the coast from smugglers to witch trials.

4. Time in St Abbs (1 hour)
- Explore the historic harbour village and film set.
- Take photos, relax on the pier, or simply enjoy the waves.
- Optional scone and tea in the local café or maybe an ice cream (£5 Voucher included) for Ebbcarrs Cafe
- Time to soak in the charm of St Abbs without rushing

5. Return Walk to Coldingham
- A guided return along the coast.
- Gentle pacing with space for reflection or conversation.
- Integration of the day’s experiences into calm energy for the rest of your visit.

Safety & Sea Sense Throughout
- Understand tides, currents, and basic coastal conditions.
- Learn how wind, swell, and weather affect safety.
- Recognise hazards: rocks, kelp, entry/exit points.
- Listen to your body and personal limits.
