Teviotdale Steel Bonnets at Gilnockie Tower

Gilnockie Tower welcomes The Teviotdale Steel Bonnets to the debatable lands on the 21st May 2023 from 10am onwards.

Come and learn about the Border Reivers history on five levels of Gilnockie Tower.

GilnockieTower, home to the Clan Armstrong is situated on the A7 between Canonbie and Langholm.

This Tower house has recently been repaired, is a rubble built, 5 storey residence that allegedly supported the nefarious activities of many organised crime syndicates, extending back in time over 500 years.

Be intrigued with The Teviotdale Steel Bonnets, hear the tales of times gone by on how the Reivers lived, how they pillaged, hid, survived in these Anglo-Scottish debatable lands.
