Summer Solstice Wellbeing Day

A full day Solstice Pass is available to book for just £10 per person on the Crawick Multiverse website. The Solstice Pass will provide unlimited access to Crawick Multiverse on Thursday 20th June 2024 within the extended opening hours from 4am to 6pm.
A full programme can be downloaded on the Crawick Multiverse website, but will include:
SUNRISE SESSIONS: 4am - 8am
• 4am - Early opening for anyone who would like to experience the Summer Solstice Sunrise at Crawick Multiverse
• 5am - 7am - Sunrise Tour of Crawick Multiverse with Kathleen Cronie (No additional charge, but pre-booking essential)
• 7am - 8am - Time for breakfast! (Option to go off site to the Nithsdale Hotel in Sanquhar for breakfast (at own expense) before attending the wellbeing sessions)
ALL DAY ADVENTURES: 4am - 6pm
• 4am - 6pm - Visitors are welcome to spend Summer Solstice Day exploring Crawick Multiverse. Visitors are free to explore the site at their leisure and to participate in Solstice Day tours, wellbeing sessions and entertainment as they wish (all activities are optional)
MORNING WELLBEING SESSIONS: 8am - 11.30am
• When not exploring the site, visitors will be able to enjoy outdoor wellbeing sessions on the lawn. There will be a selection of short demos and classes to enjoy including Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga. (No additional charge) Contributors include; Shining Cloud Tai Chi for Health and Kerry Riddell Yoga.
• 10.30am - 11.30am - Guided Tour of Crawick Multiverse by Kathleen Cronie (No additional charge, but pre-booking advised)
MIDDAY GATHERING: 11.30am - 2.30pm
• From 11.30am - 2.30pm, visitors are invited to come together to enjoy outdoor entertainment at the Sun Amphitheatre. There will be a selection of short performances including singing, dancing and storytelling to enjoy over a picnic lunch. (No additional charge for the entertainment. Bring your own picnic or buy locally on the day). Performers include: Cairn Chorus, Motiv8 Dance Group, Polyhedra Dance (including Nonsuch History and Dance, Keneish Dance - Balance*, Denise Telles Hofstra and Tom Hughes) and storytelling by Kathleen Cronie at Cosmic Collisions.

SOLSTICE SEMINAR: 6.30pm – 9.30pm
As part of the European Lunar Symposium (ELS) event being held in Dumfries from the 16th - 21st June 2024, The Open University in Scotland will also host a Moon Museum and a Solstice Seminar at The Crichton in Dumfries on Thursday 20th June. The Solstice Seminar is a ticketed event for £5 and is open to the public.
