Stargazing Guide (Planetarium Experience)

Do you want to familiarise yourself with the constellations before going out to hunt for them yourself? Do you want some tips and tricks for making the most of your time under the Dumfries and Galloway night skies? Or do you just want the stargazing experience without worrying about clouds or cold weather? Then Kirkcudbright Dark Space Planetarium is the place for you!
Every day of the Dark Skies Festival, we will be hosting a special 'Stargazing Guide' experience in our immersive 360 planetarium dome. We will show you what is in the night sky this week, give you a tour of the constellations, talk about the science behind what we see in the night sky, and provide some practical tips that you can use when you are out under the stars!
